Peas Samosa

Recipe for Peas Samosa

Ingredients

  • Dry green peas - 1/2 cup, soaked overnight
  • Salt to taste
  • Asafoetida - pinch of
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1 tsp
  • Aamchur powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat masala -1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar powder - 1 tbsp
  • Samosa patti thin - 1 packet
  • Ankur Oil to fry

Method

  • Drain water from soaked green peas and crush it in blender.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add asafoetida and crushed peas, saute well. Cook till done.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder,aamchur powder, chaat masala, Garam masala and sugar powder and mix well.
  • Turn of the heat and keep it aside.
  • Take samosa patti, put stuffing and fold it in triangle. Seal with little water and deep fry it in Ankur Oil.
  • Serve with chutney.
